Fraternity of Our Lady Queen of Peace

In July 2002, Our Lady Queen of Peace requested Her Children to attend Her House on July 25th, nine days after the anniversary of the opening of Her House. She said that this day would become known as the day of Her Fraternity.

The membership of the Fraternity of Our Lady Queen of Peace is a spiritual membership; therefore, its number cannot be counted. The Fraternity is made up of those who live and support Her Message; it is between each person and Our Blessed Mother.

• After Our Lady founded Her Fraternity, Fraternity prayer groups were formed in local areas where members have an opportunity of meeting on a weekly basis to pray for the Mission and work of Our Lady Queen of Peace.

• The Fraternity also have in place a rota of prayer, where every hour of every day is covered in praying the Holy Rosary. Anybody wishing to support this work can join the programme.

In the messages of Our Heavenly Mother, She has oftentimes referred to the role of the members of the Fraternity. She has called us to be “Active members of My Fraternity” “Those who are in My Fraternity will come to My House and help”

• The members of the Fraternity who are in a position to respond to this message are coach leaders, who have taken on the work of organising regular pilgrimages to Our Lady’s House.

• Each Saturday some members of the Fraternity make up a First Aid team. People are always available to attend to the needs of the sick and available to all pilgrims.

• A Fraternity Choir is in place that complements the prayers weekly in Our Lady’s chapel.

• An information office is run by Fraternity volunteers, offering information on time tables in the chapel and details of local amenities from times of Holy Mass to accommodation needs locally, contact details of all coach leaders in each area and volunteer staff are available to assist any other needs of pilgrims.

• Each week a team of stewards are in place, to ensure the smooth running of the day and the safety of all who attend.

• A group of Fraternity members work on a newsletter to keep people informed and updated on the work and developments of Our Lady Queen of Peace pilgrims.

• The Fraternity of Our Lady elected a member of the Fraternity to co-ordinate it, as it had grown so big; this afforded the pilgrims a stronger voice. It allowed the people the opportunity to try and fulfil the messages as a unit.

• Beginning in 2003 in response to a request for a place of refuge for Christina, we achieved the purchase of a property in Dublin which was made available to her in 2006 for the duration of her lifetime.

• Once the co ordination of the pilgrims came into being, it was a unanimous decision that we should have the ability to respond to the message as a people who could choose what works for the benefit of Our Lady we could implement. A group of people independent of the House chose to set up a trust. The trustees of the trust were chosen by the people to represent them in various projects that would further the Mission.

"The achievements are numerous"

(A) The land adjacent to Our Lady’s House has been obtained for further development in the future.
(B) A property has been purchased for charitable use.
(C) We enabled the purchase and protection of Mrs. Gallagher’s home, Newport Co. Mayo, this property belongs to the people. This is a great achievement as the donors who put in place are aware of the spiritual value of the place and the role it will have in the future.
(D) Through the trust we are able to run training programmes in the areas of Occupational First Aid, Manual Handling and Volunteering.
(E) We have run nights of celebration in various areas, to promote the Rosary, social entertainment and information meetings.
• The developments of the activity of the Fraternity are ongoing and go from strength to strength.
We try to the best of our ability to respond to the request by Our Blessed Mother, to work together, in Her Fraternity. (“You who are united in My Army will become active in My Fraternity”)
Our Lady Queen of Peace requested a chain of Houses of Prayer. In the Message of request, She wanted a chain of Houses throughout Ireland and the world. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances the Houses in Ireland did not materialise, though Our Lady did state later that those who worked towards Houses in Ireland would receive the same Blessing as if they were achieved. This was a wonderful opportunity given us to become aware and support our friends abroad and thankfully today, there is a chain with its own charitable status in Texas, Kansas, Minnesota, Florida and Ohio. There is also a House in Mexico. These Houses flourish, as they too, promote the Message of Our Lady, share in the same prayer programme as Our Lady’s House in Achill and always welcome those who are in need of their Heavenly Mother and Her Love.

As Our Lady’s Fraternity has developed, Our Lady has guided and led us, and in July 2006 Our Holy Mother stated in a message; “My children, I call all of you to become united in my Fraternity. I am unable to help you unless you are part of my Fraternity or Confraternity. I beg you to respond to My call. Turn away from sin and receive Truth and live by it. To be part of my Fraternity, I desire you to receive my Rules. You must choose. If you choose to live by My Rules, then I can help and protect you. These Rules are your promise and obedience to Me. If you make this promise and fail to fulfil it, then you will wish you had not heard of My Fraternity”. As time has gone on, Our Lady teaches us and asks us respond more fully to Her. The rules She implemented for us are as follows:

The Fraternity Rules

“I desire to draw many of you, My children into my Confraternity. The Rules for your commitment to be children of My Fraternity are these”;

• Live by the laws of God and His Commandments.
• Those of you, who are Catholic, receive the Sacraments of God.
• Pray My Rosary daily, Joyful, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries.
• Recognise sin, and beg God for forgiveness for yourself and for others.
• Love God and your neighbours.
• Renounce Satan and all his works.
• Turn your life on to the road of Light, and journey through life in the Light of My Son Jesus, through Truth being lived in you.
• Live in the knowledge of God.
• Love Him with your whole heart and life
• Be witness to the truth, for God is Truth.
• Always be aware of God’s Mercy and desire it for yourself and for all of my children, through prayer.
• Be aware that God’s justice is at hand.

The rules given us are no different to what we are called to as members of the mystical Body of Christ in the truths of the Catholic Church.
All members of Our Lady’s Fraternity are united in seeking to put in place the work requested by Our Lady Queen of Peace in Her Message to Ireland and the world, through Christina Gallagher. All the projects which have been undertaken by the Fraternity, since it was first put in place; have been directed towards this end. The Fraternity members cherish and support the work of Our Lady. Prayer is at the heart of this work, and our basic prayer is “O illustrious Virgin Mary, help your poor sinful little children to respond to your call. Lead us to Jesus, Your Son. Amen” (given to Christina Gallagher in 2006)
